Roberto Ciccolella
Well, time to say something about me.
My name is Roberto Ciccolella I was born in southern Italy in Bari that is the capital of the Apulia region along the Adriatic side of the Italian peninsula.
I am high school graduated (Accounting).
Web design is my passion, I started learning this very challenging topic in 2003.
It is a never ending learning process since technology evolve all the time.
Here is a list of the tools I use daily for web development:
- Adobe Fireworks for graphics (In my opinion far better option than Photoshop for web graphic since it’s easier and developed exclusively for web design)
- phpDesigner (phpDesigner is a really powerful PHP, HTML, Javascript and CSS editor, the FTP live editing tool is very useful for live WordPress Themes development)
- Mozilla Firefox browser (The only browser to use if you are involved in web development. (Update: I am still using it but I prefer Google Chrome)
- Google Chrome (Simply the best browser available today for web development and not only for that…)
- Web Developer Extension for Firefox (A web developer essential tool)
- HTML Validator (To make sure the code is clean and web standard complaints)
- Firebug (A tool that a web developer cannot live without)
- Filezilla (Open source FTP client)
- Colorzilla (Need pick a colour from the screen? Colorzilla!)
- Measureit (Very useful to measure portion of screen)
As WordPress Developer I also deploy three powerful solution for my web projects:

CMS: (Content Management Systems)
I started using WordPress five years ago, I am really amazed about this CMS. For a web developer it is a dream come through, the chance to extend it are endless.
For the web site owners it is very user friendly, if you are able to write a letter with a word processor or to send an email you can use WordPress.
WordPress allow you to be in complete control of the content of your web site with the chance to update it any time you wish.
